What’s wrong with what we put in our bodies?

     First of all, let me start with the foods we purchase. We tend to go to the best values so you can save money. Clip those coupons, buy one get one free. You got the fridge packed.  The voice comes in your head, you know, the alter ego that says “Go get some;
·         beer,
·         cigarettes
·         candy
·         etc…
You get your fix and you feel good. If you relate a “fix” to drugs, you are right. It’s bad for you illegal and legal. Some seem harmless such as;
·         The preservatives and certain ingredients added to our food.
·         The additives to the drinking water from the faucet.
·         The sugar in the sweets we eat. (Sorry, um hooked on chocolate.)
·         Etc…
A lot of stuff we put in our bodies throughout the day with no nutrition.
Some ingredients added to our food and beverages are nothing but drugs if they were in their raw form. Look at the  ingredients, some you can’t even pronounce.
Ex; Zethozanthanoid phosphate, Rhibitosis diglutimate, etc…
(Don’t try to look these so called ingredients up because they’re made up and just examples of the word play on some ingredients.)
If some of these substances used their common name on the list of ingredients, then you probably wouldn’t buy it.

Creating a Beautiful and Comfortable Environment for a Yoga Class

The environment is a very important factor when it comes to yoga. There is a reason experienced yogis will choose serene and beautiful environments when they want to go on yoga class. When practicing in a studio, it may be difficult to replicate the beauty that nature provides but it is very important to enhance the comfort by creating a beautiful and comfortable environment. The following tips will come in handy when decorating the studio.

Remove clutter

An open space devoid of clutter is very important to provide the best atmosphere. Ensuring that there are no distractions in the room will help the students to concentrate on what they are doing. You may be tempted to introduce your decorating skills to the space but you have to remember that with yoga, less in more. Unnecessary equipment, furniture and other accessories are not only distracting, but also can be dangerous.

Adequate space

You might be tempted to enroll a huge number of students to make more money but you have to remember that your space will determine the ideal size of class you can handle. You may have wide experience in different yoga teacher courses but do not try to cram too many students in one class. Taking too many students will mean that you cannot give everyone your attention and the students do not have enough space to enjoy the best experience.

Ensure safety

There are many types of yoga out there and one style that is gaining popularity is the Hot Yoga. Before you introduce this style, make sure that the room is comfortable. This type of yoga is not safe for people with medical issues like diabetes or those prone to dizzy spells. It is also not recommended for people over the age of 60 or pregnant women. It is not a good idea for beginners to jump straight into hot yoga on their first day. Remember that with this style, people are going to sweat a lot and towels are necessary.

When you decide to get into the yoga business, getting yoga teacher training is just the first step. You have to think about the best way to attract and retain students. Creating a comfortable studio atmosphere will help to ensure that the students keep coming back. Pay attention to each person in the room so that you can identify those who are struggling and need more help.

If you want to get a flat stomach with a neat six pack, you should build lean muscle and reduce body fat. Healthy eating helps accomplish this object at the earliest.

Eat a balanced diet that includes essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals in healthy quantities.
One should eat carbohydrates in judicious amounts. Replace simple carbs with complex carbs in your daily diet. Fitness experts suggest eating carbs in the morning as it allows the body enough time to digest it. Yams and brown rice are good food choices.
If you want to get ripped fast, you should eat foods rich in proteins. Proteins build muscle mass, provide energy for workouts and controls hunger cravings. It also helps the body eliminate fat. Consume lean meat such as fish and chicken, eggs, cereal and oatmeal. You should eat 1g of protein for every pound of body weight. One can also have a protein shake.

Do not eat processed and packaged foods rich in sugar and fat such as candies, cookies, pizzas and chips.
Do not eat high sodium foods.
Drink plenty of water; at least 8-12 glasses of water daily. Drink cold water. Cold water accelerates your metabolism as the body has to work harder to get the water to normal body temperature.
You should not drink sugar-sweetened colas and carbonated drinks. Replace them with green tea, coffee and fresh fruit juices. Catechin present in green tea and coffee stimulates your metabolism.
You should not skip meals or go into starvation mode in order to burn fat in the midsection. Starving works the opposite adding fatty deposits and depleting muscle mass.

Exercise

Stomach crunches are the best to get six pack abs in a month. There are a variety of crunches you can perform. The aim is to build core strength.
Leg raises and hanging leg raises are also exercises for a six pack.
Cardiovascular exercises such as cycling, running, swimming, stair-stepping, skipping and walking are also a must if you want to get rid of fat sitting around the midsection.
Interval training that alternates between high and low intensity exercises increases fat burning in the body.

Sleep

You should get minimum 8 hours of sleep. Sleep replenishes the body. In the absence of rest, the body feels fatigued prompting you to eat more.
